Unpredictable Autumn

A friend and I attempted to schedule what just may've been the last bike ride of the season this morning but, sure enough, Mother Nature wasn't on our side.   The fall color show here in the Twin Cities is really starting and is expected to peak within the next few weeks.  One thing is for sure, it won't be long before all traces of summer are swept away in the cool Autumn breezes.

Being a faithful practioner of Yoga (Hatha and Kriya) for almost a decade, I set my sights on learning something new.  After reading a great novel by Deng Ming-Dao entittled, "Chronicles of Tao" I decided to try my hand at Qigong.  I ordered a beginner's two disc dvd set from Amazon and found that there were two "disc twos" in the case!   Being a firm believer that most things in life happen for a reason I thought that I'd take a look at what was on disc two this morning.  I did and it was a documentary explaining the history and indepth philosophy behind the ancient exercise.   Knowing how I am, I wouldn't have taken the time to watch the documentary if I had received the dvd containing the exercise routine...I would've wanted to "dive right in" to the practice.

We think our long and arduos home search just might be over.  We found a great craftsmen-style bungalow in a neighborhood in St. Paul that reminds me so much of the Clintonville area of my hometown, Columbus, OH.  There's lots of small businesses within walking distance and it seems like a nice, solid neighborhood.

The attached picture is a sample of some of the shots taken for our website.  We're experimenting with lighting conditions and props and hope to have all of our shots done soon so we can get the, "show on the road".  We're so excited to send out our official launch e-mail.  We've found a wonderful Fall tea variety that we'll be offering.  It's cardamom black tea, with a wonderful spicy, rich flavor that is perfect for Fall.

Enjoy your weekends everyone.  Enjoy the Fall colors and cool breezes this weekend and be sure to enjoy a nice cup of tea!  : )
